NAC honors two GMC women's runners
The women’s cross country team had two runners selected to the NAC All-conference team when the awards were announced. Senior Lauren DiSessa (Westfield, MA) and Sophomore Nicole Horvath (Fort Edward, NY) were both chosen as second team all-conference runners by the coaches.

Women place 4th at NAC Championships
On Saturday, November 1st the GMC Women's XC team ran in their first NAC Championship race held at Johnson State College. It was a sunny but cold morning and all ten of these ladies were ready to run.

Saratoga Ladies all score PR's
The rain held off and the "Saratoga Ladies" were ready to run in their biggest meet of the season so far. They ran against 27 other women's teams - totalling 270 women in all!

GMC Women Host 2nd Annual XC Invitational
On a "frosty" but brilliantly sunny morning - the GMC Cross Country team held their 2nd annual XC Invitational. GMC played host to Cobleskill University from NY State and Johnston State College. The ladies ran first and five GMC runners finished in the top ten. First for GMC and second overall was sophomore Nicole Horvath in a time of 21:25.

GMC Girls Improve on their times at Vermont State Meet Held at Castleton
(Oct 4, 2008 Castleton, VT) This past Saturday the Women's Cross Country team attended the Vermont State Meet held at Castleton State College. It was a chilly morning - but perfect running weather.

Horvath & Fiore place in top 15 at SVC
The Women's Cross Country team participated in the Mountaineers Invitational at Southern Vermont College this past Saturday. The skies were cloudy with rain threatening - but the races took place with not one drop. On a tough and hilly course - the ladies were once again led by sophomore Nicole Horvath taking 7th place in a time of 24:06.

Horvath Medals at Raptor Invitational!
For their third meet of the season the Women's Cross Country team traveled to Bard College in NY State for the Raptors Invitational Meet. On a hot and humid day the ladies took off first.

Women Improve "Times" Over Last Week
On Saturday, September 13th the Women's Cross Country team traveled to Cobleskll, NY to compete in the Fighting Tigers Invitational.

Eagles place 2nd in Season Opener
On Saturday, September 7th - the Women's Cross Country team traveled to Castleton State College for their first competative meet of the season. GMC had eleven ladies running in the race and they were all ready to go when the gun went off. Leading the pack was Team Captain Senior Lauren DiSessa right from the start.
