The Green Mountain College women's volleyball team fell to Husson University Saturday in the NAC semifinals. The Eagles took a 1-0 lead staging a comeback in the first set after trailing 20-15, to pull out a 27-25 victory in the match's opening set.

North Atlantic Conference honors 3 from GMC
Poultney, VT (11/4/08)- Three Green Mountain College womens volleyball players were honored by the North Atlantic Conference in the end of the year all-conference balloting.

Eagles advance by knocking off Spartans
11/1/08- Green Mountain College defeated Castleton State in the quarterfinal round of the North Atlantic Conference womens volleyball tournament 3-1. The Spartans got off to a good start, leading 10-4 in the first set, and held of Green Mountain taking the first set 25-23. The Eagles responded by winning the next three sets, 25-13, 25-13, and 25-12 to finish off their cross-town rivals.

Eagles earn #4 seed, will host Castleton in Quarterfinals
Seeding has been announced for the North Atlantic Conference Volleyball Championship which will begin first round play Saturday, November 1. Husson (12-8 overall) went undefeated in conference play to earn the top seed and a first round bye in the NAC Tournament. The Eagles will host the semifinals and finals on Saturday, November 8.
