Eagles Tripped up by Timberwolves

POULTNEY, Vt. – Green Mountain College was ousted in three straight sets by SUNY Adirondack on Wednesday evening in non-conference women's volleyball action at the Eagle Dome.

The visitors hit at a .133 clip as a team putting down 36 kills against 23 errors. Tylor Graham and Maya Phillips led the SUNY Adirondack attack registering 10 and nine kills, respectively. Kaicey Sardina excelled defensively tallying an impressive 19 digs while Breanna McDuff engineered the offense with her 31 assists.

Green Mountain's offense was powered by Estela Felix Almeida's (South Gate, Calif.) five kills and supplemented by Madison Wheeler's (Lyndeborough, N.H.) four kills.  That duo also led the team defensively with Wheeler registering 11 digs and Almeida digging up 10 attacks. Caroline Gay (West Palm Beach, Fla.) led the team with 10 assists.

Green Mountain will travel to Lyndon to finish out the regular season with matches against the host Hornets as well as Johnson St.
