(October 6, 2009) - Poultney, VT - Senior Emma Buckley (Lakeville, CT) tallied a game-high 14 kills and 17 digs to lead the Green Mountain College Eagles to a 3-0 win over the visiting Bobcats of Paul Smith's College in women's volleyball action Tuesday evening.  The Bobcats remain winless (0-10) while the Eagles improve to 6-9. 

GMC breezed through all three sets (25-11, 25-16, 25-11) en route to the victory.  Junior Jen McGuire (Nutley, NJ) created most of the Eagles' attacking opportunities and nabbed 17 assists.  Junior Melanie Rodriguez (Hoboken, NJ) collected 8 services aces and kills in the victory. 

As a team, GMC was 50.3% on side-out attempts and a .269 attack percentage with a total of 12 errors in 70 attempts. 

The Eagles return to action Thursday, October 8^th when they host Word of Life Bible Institute at 5:00 pm.
