Brinley-Buckley Named to NAC 1st Team
(November 3, 2009) - Poultney, VT - Senior middle-hitter Emma Brinley-Buckley (Lakeville, CT) was named to the 2009 North Atlantic Conference women's volleyball 1st Team Tuesday morning. Buckley, a 2008 1st team all-conference honoree, was joined on the first team by Castleton's Jamie Lemieux and Ashley Keppa, Kaitlyn McKay (Husson), Chelsea Ward (MMA), and Amy Young (MMA).
Emma finished 3rd in the conference in hitting percentage (.350), 4th in kills (104, 4.33/g) and 3rd in blocks with 18. On the season, Buckley lead the Eagle's with 244 kills in 67 games and totaled 44 blocks while averaging 3.34 digs per game.
Buckley was also named NAC Player of the Week on October 19th after leading the Eagles to a pair of 3-0 conference victories.
