Four Eagle’s named to NAC 2nd Team
(November 5th, 2009) - Poultney, VT -Senior Katie Jablonski (West Rutland, VT), sophomores Erin Burch (Lebanon, CT), Karen Davidson (Seymour, CT), and Taylor Riso (Portland, OR) were named to the North Atlantic Conference women's soccer 2nd Team Wednesday afternoon.
The Eagles (6-9-1, 3-3-1 NAC) made an appearance in the conference tournament for the 2nd year running, bowing out 4-1 to the University of Maine Farmington in the opening round.
Jablonski started 13 of the Eagle's 16 games, scoring one goal in her final season. Riso, a 2008 NAC 1st Team selection, led the GMC attack with 2 goals in NAC play (12 overall) while Burch was instrumental in anchoring the midfield for the Eagles. Davidson made 38 saves in conference play and finished with a 1.58 goals against average.
