Two GMC Skiers Land on 2009 Men’s and Women’s ECSC All-Thompson Division Team
Senior Michael Weinberg and sophomore Amanda Malkin have been named to the 2009 ECSC All-Thompson Division Team. Weinberg finished 5th overall while Malkin finished 15th on the season.

Amanda Malkin Paces Ladies With a 5th Place Finish
Sophomore Amanda Malkin (Highland Falls, NY) recorded her best finish this season on Saturday racing to a 5th place finish in the Thompson Division giant slalom at the Dartmouth Raceway. Malkin turned in the 4th fastest time in the second run propelling her to 5th in a 2-run combined time of 2:21.92.

Ladies Race to a Pair of Second Place Finishes
The Eagles finished second out of 11 during both days of giant slalom racing this weekend at Killington Vermont. Over 4 total days of racing this 2009 season, the women have captured 2nd on three occasions.

The men and women’s alpine ski team takes to the slopes this weekend for two days of races at Killington, VT. Follow the results LIVE starting at 9:15 am both Saturday and Sunday as the Eagles look to improve upon their 2nd (women) and 4th (men) place finishes from last Sunday’s slalom competition. Women Race to 3rd and 4th at Bromley Mt.
The Green Mountain College women’s alpine ski team finished 2 days of slalom races this weekend with a 3rd and 4th place team finish. The Eagles are currently 3rd in the Thompson Division standings behind leaders Castleton and Boston University

Women Capture 9th and 2nd in the 2009 Season's First Competition
The women’s alpine ski team opened the 2009 ECSC Thompson Division season this weekend with an opening day 9th place finish out of 11 teams in the two-run slalom event at Killington, VT. Freshman Diann Wetzel (Highland Falls, NY) led the way with a strong 18th place finish in a time of 1:17.38.
