GS Better than SL
Waterville Valley, NH - On the second day of competition, the GS course looked daunting. However, the Lady Eagles knew there was nothing to lose and edged down the mountain with ferocity. Taking 10th place overall, they improved from yesterday's slalom.

Eagles Compete in Regionals
Waterville Valley, NH - Despite Green Mountain Lady Eagles #1 skier not finishing first run, the women cranked for an 11th place spot at Regionals in the Slalom. First year Amanda Malkin (Highland Lakes, NJ) uncharacterstically fell in the second run.

Eagles Finish Strong - Take Bid for Regionals
Killington, VT - Finishing the regular season, the Lady Eagles finish 4th in Thompson Division standings and earn a bid to compete at the Regional Competition at Waterville Valley in New Hampshire in two weeks time.

Killington, VT - First year trio lead the Green Mountain Eagles on the course. Amanda Malin (Highland Lakes, NJ) takes top spot for Lady Eagles while Rebecca Steinhauer (Winchester, MA) and Danielle Philips (Parsippany, NJ) nab #2 & # respectively.

GMC Paced for Finishing 3rd
Dartmouth, NH - A 4th place finish today at Dartmouth's Skiway was another steady effort for the Lady Eagles. Three racers stood up on a perfect day in New Hampshire. First year phenom's, Malkin and Steinhauer, paced the Eagles yet again.

Dartmouth, NH - The Lady Eagles are locked into 3rd place by a deep margin on both ends of the hammock. Their effort today did nothing to hurt them nor did it dop anything to help them close in on the second spot. Consistency is the name of the game.

GMC Makes Up Ground
Bromley, VT - The Slalom event just isn't what it used to be in the beginning of the season. That, or the Bronlety course is just tough, tough, tough. The Lady Eagles picked up ground garnering a 5th place spot yet the timing was elusive for them today.

Eagles Slip in Slalom
Bromley, VT - The Green Mountain Lady Eagles stepped into this weekend's races with a heady 3rd place hold. Getting inot the #2 spot would take a special effort. Today was not one of them. An 8th place kept the Eagles in 3rd for a holding pattern.

Malkin Grabs 3rd Overall
Killington, VT - Gaining ground and speed, these Eagles are pushing their limits. 6 combined seconds away from 2nd spot and 12 away from 1st. This improvement has everyone looking to see how this Divisional race will shape up.

Two in Top Ten - Four in Top Twenty
Killington, VT - The Lady Eagles nabbed a 3rd for the day with two freshman finshing in the top ten. Amanda Malkin scoring a 7th place finish and Rebecca Steinhauer sticking at 9. Two others would finish in the top twenty making it a great day to be an Eagle!

Vast Improvement Overnight
Killington, VT - The Lady Eagles stepped to the Slalom course at Killington with a renewed vigor to make up for lost ground. The previous day saw a difficult Slalom and these Eagles did not come out emtpy handed. A 2nd place spot with only one failing to finish.

Thompson Division Racing Begins
Killington, VT - The Lady Eagles began their Divisional racing this weekend at Killington Resort. They sought to continue a level of consistency they found in Maine. Times are good except two slips cost them and they arrived in 5th place for the day.

Lady Eagles Show Consistency
Titcomb, ME - After yesterday's 3rd place finish in the Giant Slalom, the GMC women were now testing their skills on the technical Slalom course. They did not disappoint as a second consecutive 3rd place spot in a difficult field showed promise. The first year class is making a splash!

Women Test Their Bearings
Sugarloaf, ME - The Lady Eagles struck to Maine to test themselves at the first meet of the year and took 3rd on the day. There was plenty of strong competition and fast course work by the gate crew. Always interesting to see where the teams will be by getting in the first competition.
