Senior attacker Amanda Jeffers (Homer, NY) was named the NAC Player of the Week for her performances in a pair of conferences games over the weekend.
Eagles Upend Terriers; Sweep Conference WeekendThe Green Mountain womens lacrosse team scored 9 goals in each half en route to a comfortable win over NAC rivals Thomas college (18-7) Sunday. With the win, the Eagles climb to (4-3) overall and (3-1) in conference play. The Terriers fall to (0-5) on the season. Sophomore Amanda Malkin (Barrylakes, NJ) continued her goal-scoring streak, netting 6 goals on the day. Senior Amanda Jeffers (Homer, NY) added 6 goals and an assist while freshman Erin Burch (Lebanon, CT) dished out 4 assists. Freshman net minder Kelsy Allan (Jupiter, FL) had another outstanding day for the Eagles, making 13 stops on 23 shots.

Big Second-Half Propels Cadets Over EaglesTwelve second-half goals and a staunch defensive effort propelled the visiting Cadets of Norwich University to a (20-7) victory over the host Green Mountain College Eagles in womens lacrosse action Wednesday afternoon. Leading (8-5) and the interval, the Cadets reeled off 5 unanswered goals in the opening 8 minutes of the second half to blow the game open. Green Mountains Carley Williams (Kensington, NH) drew a goal back at the 18:51 mark, but Norwich never relented, tacking on 6 more.
