Lady Eagles Finish The Season

Worcester, MA - The Green Mountain women's lacrosse team finished out their season against Becker College on the road. An amazing season in so many regards and a major step in the right direction for a burgeoning program. The game was not a championship nor was it highlighted by incredible feats. However, it did make a statement that women's lacrosse has found a home at Green Mountain College.
"This team climbed such a huge mountain this year. It pleases me to see that they were able to stick it out and be such great pioneers for generation of women lacrosse players that will come after them," Head Coach Katie Keogh commented.
Sophomore Emma Buckley (Lakeville, CT) and first year Allison Hatcher combined to make 15 stops in a lopsided defeat. Green Mountain is looking forward to a strong class of incoming first years to assist the core of women lacrosse players that will be returning for the next step.
