Eagles Cruise Past Huskies
Green Mountain College used 60.9% shooting from the field to cruise past the visiting Huskies from Word of Life Bible Institute 91-27 in women's basketball action Tuesday night.
The Eagles featured four players with double figure points, including senior Natalie Clark (W. Palm Beach, FL) who added 21. Freshman Ashley Day (Mt. Vernon, NY) chipped in with 18 while senior co-captain Brittany Holden (Schenectady, NY) scored 11 points on 5-7 shooting and dished out 9 assists. Junior Emma Buckley (Lakeville, CT) led the way on the boards collecting 11.
With the victory, the Eagles imporve to 5-2 on the season.
Green Mountain returns to action this Friday, December 12th at 7pm against the visiting Wildcats from Bay Path College.
