Eagles Edged by Terriers

In a North Atlantic Conference women's basketball matchup between Thomas College and Green Mountain College at Larry Mahaney Gym in Waterville, the Thomas Terriers were able to capture a 72-67 victory to improve to 2-9 in the NAC.
Leading the way for the Terriers was a trio of double digit Thomas scorers. Mallorie Blakney had a team high 17 points and nine rebounds, and also added 5 steals in the effort. Senior captain Amy Miles had 16 for the Lady Terriers and also chipped in with seven rebounds of her own. Cortney Barrett had 14 points and recorded a team high 11 rebounds in the Thomas victory.
For Green Mountain, the standouts were Emma Buckley who had a game high 20 points and also recorded 12 rebounds in the loss. Christina Chamberlain had a game high 14 rebounds, and also recorded 12 points. The Terriers will play their next game on Saturday, February 14 as they host conference rival Castleton State College.
