Husson University topped Green Mountain College 80-67 at Newman Gym in NAC action. Shelby Bradford (Jr, Lee, ME) paced the Husson with a game high 25 points and 18 rebounds, she also added 4 assists and 4 steals.

Husson finished the game off with a 19-7 run over the last 7:11 for the victory. They were 6-6 from the foul line in the final minute to seal the win. Jenny Rollins (Sr, Corinth, ME) had 16 points including 4-6 from the arch. Ashley Bragdon (Jr, Newport, ME) added 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Husson built a double digit lead twice in the first half only to see Green Mountain close the gap each time. Husson jumped out to an early 12-3 lead in the first four minutes of play, they maintained a comfortable margin extending it to 35-25 with 6:38 left on a pair of Bradford foul shots. Brittany Holder (Sr, Schenectady, NY) lead a Green Mountain 12-2 run to end the half down 41-39. Holder had 8 of her 21 points in the run, hitting two threes and a short jumper.

Emma Buckley (Jr, Lakeville, CT) added 20 points and 16 rebounds before fouling out with just under 3 minutes to play while Molly Hopper (So, Gouverneur, NY) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for Green Mountain.

Husson evens their record at 7-7 (3-1 NAC) while Green Mountain is now 7-6 (1-2 NAC). Both teams next play on Saturday, January 24th at 2:00 pm. Husson host Castleton State while Green Mountain travels to Maine Maritime Academy.
