Seth Benjamin joins the Green Mountain College athletics coaching staff after a one year stint as an assistant coach for the women's soccer program at Division I University of Vermont.  During his time at UMV, Benjamin aided in the day-to-day operations of the program including the creation and implementation of training sessions and academic monitoring.  Benjamin was also instrumental in the landing of a top-50 recruiting class for 2011. 

Prior to his position at UVM, Seth served as the assistant coach for the University of New England men's soccer program from 2006-2010.  Coach Benjamin helped lead the Nor'easters to a pair of Commonwealth Coast Conference championship matches and concluded the 2009 season with a 10-8 mark.

During his tenure at UNE, Benjamin also served as the head coach for the 1996 girls Maine Olympic Development Program squad. 

A graduate from Southern Maine University with a bachelors degree in History and minor in coaching, Seth holds a USSF ‘B’ license, NSCAA Director of Coaching and NSCAA National Goalkeeper diplomas.
