Donna Lawson continued her torrid play with 12 points, 10 rebounds and five steals as Lyndon State handed Green Mountain College a 67-29 setback Tuesday in North Atlantic Conference women's basketball action.  The Eagles struggled from the field, shooting only 22.4% from the field for the game and 12.4% in the 2nd half.

Abby Fadden scored 14 points for the Lady Hornets and Naomi White had 13. Stephanie Barclay had five assists for the winners and Shauna Buck collected five steals. Liz Pavlik blocked four shots for Lyndon, who improved to 6-4 overall and 1-0 in the NAC.

Emma Brinley Buckley had 14 points, 19 rebounds and seven blocked shots for the Lady Eagles and Katie Jablonski dished out six assists. The loss dropped Green Mountain to 5-5 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

GMC returns to action Thursday when they host MCLA at 7:00 pm.
