POULTNEY, VT - The only time the Eagles trailed in the game was at 5-4 in the first 5 minutes of the game.  After that it was all GMC.  The Eagles used tough defense to go into halftime with a 28-13 lead.

In the second half it was back and forth, but the closest the Hornets would get was within 12 points.

GMC was led by JR Brittany Holden (Schenectady, NY) with 13 points and 6 assists.  JR Christina Chamberlin (Woodstock, VT) added 12 points and 8 rebounds.  SO Emma Buckley (Lakeville, CT) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 8 blocks.

GMC will host Albany Pharmacy on Saturday for a 2 pm tip-off.
