POULTNEY, VT - The first half was a back and forth contest as both teams faced a cold shooting start.  The Eagles were able to pull ahead 11-5 in the beginning, then the Thorougbreds marched right back.  The score was tied 17-17, before Skidmore went on a 7-1 run to finish the half.

GMC scored the first hoop in the second half to cut the lead to 4.  Skidmore used their pressure and fresh legs to wear down GMC-but the Eagles  never gave up and made them work for everything they got.

SO Emma Buckley (Lakeville, CT) had a monster night with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks.  JR Natalie Clark (West Palm Beach, FL) added 10 points.  FR Molly Hopper (Governor, NY) chipped in with 9 points and 6 rebounds.

GMC travels to New England College on Monday.
