Eagles Win on the Road v. Becker

LEICESTER, MA - Becker started the game on an 8-0 run.  GMC answered with a 20-0 run, to take the lead    20-8, before Becker hit a three to stop it.  The Eagles were able to maintain that lead for the rest of the first half and led  33-32 at the half.

In the second half the Eagles walked out of the locker-room ready to go and controlled the second half as well.  Only at one point did Becker lead, 48-47, which GMC was able to come right back and score a quick hoop to go ahead for the final time.

The Eagles did a great job on defense holding the Hawks below their scoring average-allowing only one Hawk to score in double figures.

It was a complete team effort in every way.  Leading the way offensively and controlling the offense was JR Brittany Holden (Schenectady, NY) with 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals.  Holden was 7-8 from the foul line at the end of the game.  Next in line was JR Christina Chamberlin (Woodstock, VT) with 15  points, 6 rebounds.  FR Molly Hopper (Governor, NY)  added 10 points, 13 rebounds.  JR Natalie Clark (West Palm Beach, FL) chipped in with 9 points and SO Emma Buckley (Lakeville, CT) had a huge night with 8 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 blocks.

The Eagles are done for this semester and will travel to Johnson State on January 6th.
