POULTNEY, VT -  Although the Eagles started the game with intensity on defense the offense was a little slow coming along.  JR Christina Chamberlin (Woodstock, VT) kept the Eagles in it by scoring 8 of her 12 points in the half and was the only one in green and gold that was able to finish consistently.  GMC found themselves trailing  20-19 at the half, even with Chamberlin's efforts. 

In the second half the Eagles came out with the same intensity on defense holding the Badgers to only 15 second half points.  GMC was able to settle down on offense and mangaed to score 28 points.  SO Emma Buckley (Lakeville, CT) and FR Molly Hopper (Governor, NY) each scored 8 points in the second half.

Chamberlin and Buckley led the way with 12 points each-also adding 13 rebounds and 8 rebounds.  Hopper finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

GMC travels to St. Joe's of Maine for the Merry Monk Classic and will take on Presque Isle on Friday.
