UTICA, NY - Lady Eagles top Southern VT in Consolation game earning 3rd place in opening season Tournament.

GMC was leading 21-16, after FR Olesea Cojohari (Balti, Moldova) hit a shot at the buzzer to end the half.  The Eagles then came out in the second half and outsored SVC 35-18. 

All the Eagles scored in this one.  Leading the way was FR Millicent Hopper (Governor, NY) with 13 points and 7 rebounds.  Hopper earned a spot on the all tournament team for her efforts throughout the tournament.  JR Natalie Clark (West Palm Beach, FL) added 10 points and 8 rebounds.  JR Alyssa Borrelli (Merrimack, NH) pulled down 10 boards and SO Katie Jablonski (West Rutland, VT) dished out 6 assists.

GMC will travel to Bard on Tuesday.
