Timberwolves Serve Up a Sweep to Eagles

Queensbury, NY - The Green Mountain College men's tennis team met its match on a trip to SUNY Adirondack as the Eagles got served a 9-0 loss in its match on Friday afternoon.  The win extends the Timberwolves unbeaten streak to four games on the season.  The loss drops the Eagles to 1-8 on the season overall.

The Timberwolves were undoubtedly the strongest competition the Eagles have come up against this season to date as the squad was hard pressed to win the 13 sets it did on the afternoon.  The quality competition will serve the team well, however, as it heads into tomorrow's conference matchup against Thomas College.

The match against Thomas will mark a return to the Vermont Sports and Fitness Club in Rutland after a four-game run of away matches for the Eagles.  Tomorrow's match is set to get underway at 2:00 p.m.
