Men's Tennis Bitten by Terriers
Waterville, ME– The Green Mountain College men's tennis team dropped its fifth straight match Friday afternoon as it was downed by Thomas College 8-1 in non-conference play. With the win the Terriers improve to 2-2 (1-0 NAC East) on the season while the Eagles fall to 1-5 (0-1 NAC East).
Sam Snyder (Old Greenwich, CT) was the lone victor for the Eagles on the day as he battled adversity and came from a set down to beat his opponent 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.
The Eagles will face conference opponent Lyndon tomorrow afternoon at 2:20 p.m. in a rematch from earlier this season.
