Vassar pumped in 9 first half goals against GMC Saturday afternoon and coasted to a 9-1 victory.  The Eagles, who appeared to be asleep for a majority of the match, mustered very little in the attacking third. 

Green Mountain were thoroughly beaten in the middle of the park while the backs were constantly exposed courtesy, in part, to overwhelming possession and tidy ball movement from the Brewers. 

"I'm disappointed in the effort today", stated coach Mitchell.  "There is no excuse for conceding 9 goals to anyone.  We did not prepare well in the lead-up to the match and it showed in our level of enthusiasm and overall work rate.  Credit goes to Vassar for punishing our mistakes.  After a solid week of training, ahead of a massive conference weekend, I'm confident the boys will be able to respond in a positive manner."
