Enman, Eagles 6th

(September 19, 2009) - Concord, NH - Senior Ken Enman (Fort Fairlfield, ME) led the Green Mountain College golf team to a 6th place finish at the New Hampshire Technology Institute invitational Saturday afternoon. Enman carded a 100 as the top GMC finisher on the par 72 Beaver Meadows G.C. in Concord, NH.
NHTI was the top team in the field of 7 scoring a 339 followed by MCC and Colby-Sawyer (369) who tied for second place. Johnson St. notched a 379 for third, CMCC was 4th with a 390, VTC carded a 403 in 5th, GMC was 6th with a 452, and Hesser rounded out the field with a 469.
Junior Matt Tarricone (Oneonta, NY) finished his round with a 113, good enough for second among GMC golfers followed by Kevin Keating (West Hartford, CT) with a 117. Micaiah Wronkoski (Salisbury Center, NY) completed the scoring for the Eagles with a 122.
The team result was an improvement for the Eagles who finished 4th/4 in the previous two competitions this year.
Johnson State's Tyler Parker earned medalist honors for the second time this season carding a 5-over 77.
GMC returns to action Wednesday, September 23rd at the Vermont Collegiate Tournament hosted at the Vermont National C.C. in South Burlington, VT.
