This past Saturday the Men's Cross Country team attended the Vermont State Meet held at Castleton State College.  It was a chilly morning - but perfect running weather.  Team Captain Sophomore Jake Lewis was first for GMC in a time of 31:45 improving his time on the Castleton course by one minute 36 seconds.  Following Jake was freshman Aaron Ashton in a time of 34:47 taking one minute 17 seconds off his time.  Fellow freshman Cody Gaylord was next in a time of 35:58 and rounding out the GMC team was freshman Jonathan O'Neill in a time of 36:08 improving his time by one minute 6 seconds.  

The Men's team was incomplete this week and did not score. Congratulations to the University of Vermont for winning the Men's Race.  

The men are off next week for Fall Break but back in action at their home GMC Invitational on Saturday, October 18th.
