NAC honors 3 Green Mountain Men’s Soccer Players
Poultney, VT (11/5/08)- The North Atlantic conference announced it’s men’s soccer all-conference team today, honoring three members of GMC’s men’s program. Sophomore Nelson Ongiti was selected to the second team, senior Jon Wagner-Herbert and freshmen Colin Miner earned honorable mention status.

GMC drops decision to Husson
Two second half goals by Husson College proved to be too much for GMC on a blustery Saturday afternoon in Bangor Me. Green Mountain had stretches of possession throughout the match as freshman Ryan Spill linked well with fellow freshman Colin Miner and Brendan Regan. Sophomore Nelson Ongiti patrolled the left flank and gave defenders fits with piercing runs forward, creating several opportunities.

Eagles Come Up Short Against Beavers
Poultney, Vt September 27, 2008 The visiting University of Maine at Farmington Beavers used two second half goals to beat Green Mountain College 3-0. UMF opened the scoring at 28:24 of the first half when the Eagles gave the ball away deep in their defensive third. The ensuing service found a UMF forward who pushed the ball beyond the reach of GMC keeper Ryder Ritchie.
