Weinberg Takes 20th
Waterville, NH - Junior Michael Weinberg (Stamford, NY) stepped into the gates as the lone racer for the men's Green Mountain College ski team today. However, he was not alone as he carried the hopes and dreams of his teammates left behind. Michael did not disappoint as he crushed through the Slalom gates to a 20th spot on the day and a shot at Regioanl honors as well as a National invite looming.

Eagles Finish Strong/Weinberg Qualifies for Regionals

Junior Eli Kasper (Norwich, VT) responds positively to yesterday's difficulty with a 6th and propels the GMC men into a 3rd place finish. The point total to a 3rd place Thompson Division standing was too large of a gap to breach and the men's team finishes their season on a high note.

Just a few points out of third place and momentum on their side, they knew they were going to have to let it all hang out. Steady showing showed that they had taken the third spot but a late disqualification of junior Eli Kasper (Norwich, VT) suggested that he had missed a gate. Stories coroborated both sides but the judgment was against him. This tossed GMC into a 6th place finish and hopes became dim for a final push.
