Two days of giant slalom racing at Killington Mt. Yielded mixed results for the men this weekend.  Senior Michael Weinberg (Stamford, NY) again led the way for the second straight week.  Despite a disappointing 34^th place after Saturday's opening run, Weinberg battled back to take 13^th in the second run, good enough for 21^st overall in a time of 1:28.69.  Freshman Bobby Narciso (Windham, NY) finished with second fastest GMC time, 1:33.44, in 35^th place.  Christopher Wetzel (Highland Falls, NY) finished 40^th out of 120 racers in a time of 133.91.  Joshua Saxe (Montpelier, VT) crossed the line in 141.82 for 56^th overall.  The results placed the men 7^th out of 11 teams

The Eagles improved upon their 7^th on Saturday with a 6^th place finish after Sunday's giant slalom.  Weinberg narrowly missed a podium finish placing 6^th in a time of 1:29.56.  The third place finisher crossed the line .66 faster than Weinberg over the two-run event.  The finish marked the seniors best individual effort of the year, topping last weeks 11^th in a slalom event at Killington.  Wetzel improved on his Saturday finish by claiming 24^th in 1:36.28.  Joshua Saxe vaulted 15 places after Saturday to finish 41^st (1:45.69).  Narciso did not start on Sunday.

The men return to action next weekend (January 24^th/25^th) at Bromley Mt. in Peru, VT for two days of slalom races in the Thompson division.
