Senior Michael Weinberg (Stamford, NY) turned in a 3^rd place finish on the second day races and came across in 6^th on Saturday to pace the Eagles to a 5^th and 9^th place result over the weekend.  During the two-days of slalom races at Bromley Mt., the men turned in 4 top-25 finishes in the field of 106 racers.

On the opening day, Weinberg turned in a 6^th place finish with a two-run time of 1:16.24.  Chris Wetzel (Highland Falls, NY) followed Weinberg in 25^th with a time of 1:21.59, and Bobby Narciso (Windham, NY) in 41^st (1:29.89).  Sophomore Joshua Saxe (Montpelier, VT) finished a disappointing 81^st after skiing of course in the second run.  The combined results for the men were good enough for a 5^th place finish on the day.

Weinberg again led the men on the second day of racing, snagging a 3^rd place finish (1:37.66).  Sitting in 5^th after his first run (49.91), Weinberg turned in the 3^rd fastest second run (47.75), vaulting him to the podium.  Teammate Joshua Saxe recovered from his opening day woes to finish 25^th with a combined time of 1:48.17.  Wetzel finished the first run in 22^nd place, but was unable to navigate the course in the second and recorded no time.  Narciso, similarly, was unable to finish the first run.  This left the men with only two qualifying racers, dropping them to 9^th overall.

The men currently sit 7^th in the Thompson Division Standings with 2 race weekends remaining.  Next weekend the men head to Dartmouth, NH for 2 days of giant slalom racing.
