Talsky Nabs NAC All-Conference Honor; Team Wins Sportsmanship Award
Green Mountain College men's lacrosse student-athlete Max Talsky (Hanover, NH) was honored by the North Atlantic Conference Wednesday afternoon landing on the All-Conference 2nd team while the squad was awarded the 2009 NAC Sportsmanship Award.
Talsky, a junior midfielder, tallied an impressive team leading 39 goals and 10 assists, good enough for 4th (NAC) in goals per game. Of his 109 shots this season, 69 found their way on goal, finishing with a .673 SOG percentage.
The team was also honored with the Sportsmanship Award. Despite having a limited roster size, the Eagles represented themselves with poise and determination and were competitive in a number of close contests.
