Travel Side Short - Becker Too Tough
Worcester, MA - Becker College proved to be a tough match-up for the Eagles who were traveling with a short side due to academic schedules. Green Mountain would not find their scoring footing until the third quarter in the second day of back-to-back games.
Junior Jon Wright (Poughquag, NY) would tally two on the day while sophomore Jared "Max" Talsky (Hanover, NH) would add to his fantastic scoring run with one. Junior Steve Braunius (Lake Pleasant, NY) made 15 saves on the day.
Coach Labate pointed out that "Steve Braunius is as strong a keeper as they come. It is his type of dedication and leadership that a coach can build a program on."
The Eagles (1-7) play host to future North Atlantic Conference opponent Johnson State on Thursday, April 17th.
