Eagles Finish Their Season at Castleton
Castleton, VT - The Eagles had the daunting task of finishing their season against the Spartans who have become a power program in the northern New England region. The match was somewhat lopsided yet the Eagles show class and character throughout.

Second Half Tally Not Enough
Poultney, VT - The day presented a warm sun and a great crowd to root for the Eagles against future North Atlantic Conference opponent John State College. The Badgers from Johnson created enough offense in the first half to make the mountain too steep to climb for the Eagles who made a strong push in the second.

Travel Side Short - Becker Too Tough
Worcester, MA - Becker College proved to be a tough match-up for the Eagles who were traveling with a short side due to academic schedules. Green Mountain would not find their scoring footing until the third quarter in the second day of back-to-back games.

The Key to Finishing
Poultney, VT - Green Mountian hosted Mount Saint Vincent on a balmy Vermont spring day. Both squads saw ample opportunities to put the ball in the back of the net. Mt. St. Vincent's red hot keeper and surgical finishing outdid the Eagles in a contest that was closer than the score suggests.

10 First Quarter Goals Unanswered
Poultney, VT - On a beautiful Vermont spring day, the Eagles played host to in state opponent Norwich on the back fields of the GMC campus. 10 goals in the first quarter by Norwich went unanswered by GMC and proved to be the only lopsided quarter and, the difference.

Eagles Bear Down against Division II Foe
Patchogue, NY - Green Mountain mustered everything they had as they visited Division II power Briarcliffe to play their third game in as many days. Briarcliffe proved to be a very strong side and the Eagles, tired, played "very well against a superior opponent," stated coach Robert Labate.

GMC Earns First Win
New London, CT - The Eagles' first win of the season could not have come at a better time. Opening their Association of Division III Independents Conference schedule against Mitchell College, GMC turned in a gritty performance to come home on a high note.

Balanced Attack Undo Eagles
Poultney, VT - The Terriers from Thomas traveled to Green Mountain College for a future North Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse preview. The early April match-up found a cold wet day with a cake icing surface on Green Mountiain's back fields. Thomas' attack proved well balanced as the Eagles struggled to find their footing.

Fort Ann, NY - The Eagles from Green Mountain played host to the Hornets from Lyndon State College at the Golden Goal facility in Fort Ann, NY. The 30 degree weather and the bone chilling rain would not keep this match-up cool.

Fort Ann, NY - The Green Mountain College Eagles hosted the Eagles from Daniel Webster at the Golden Goal facility in Fort Ann, New York on a cold, windy and overcast day. The anticpated opener saw many new faces for GMC with a balance of returning talent.
