Green Mountain College freshmen Travis Debreaux was named the NAC Rookie of the week for the week of 12/8-12/14. In helping Green Mountain finish the week 2-0, Debreaux averaged 17.5ppg and 9.0rpg. In a 64-59 win vs the College of St. Joseph, Debreaux scored 14 points and added 8 rebounds, and then helped GMC to a 79-64 victory over Vermont Tech on Saturday with 21 points and 10 rebounds. 

After starting the contest 0-7 from the floor, freshmen Travis Debreaux made 5 of his final 7 field goals and 4-5 from the free throw line to finish with 14 points and 8 rebounds vs. the College of St. Joseph. Debreaux then kept up his hot streak, scoring 21 points and collecting 10 rebounds in GMC's victory over Vermont Tech on Saturday December 13th. Travis shot 8-16 from the floor and 5-7 from the charity stripe to help power the Eagles to their 6th consecutive victory.
