Head Coach Todd Montana enters his 5^th season at the helm of the men's basketball program looking to build on the success of the past two seasons where he teams went 21-5 and 16-11, respectively,  while capturing the ADA3I Northeast Championship in 2007-2008 and earned a trip to the North Atlantic Conference semifinals in 2008-2009.

Coach Montana has groomed 7 All-Conference Honorees during his tenure at GMC, was named the AD3I Coach of the Year in 2007-2008, and has helped 3 players ink professional contracts.

A 2000 graduate of Ithaca College, Montana joined the coaching staff as an assistant at Union College in 2001.  During his two seasons with the Dutchmen, Montana helped the team to a combined 38-20 record, a Liberty League title, and the programs first trip to NCAA Tournament.  Several players also garnered individual honors including an NABC 2^nd Team All-American, Liberty League Player of the Year, three All-Conference Honorees, and a Rookie of the Year.

In 2003, Coach Montana moved on to NCAA DII LeMoyne College where, during the 03-04 season, the team set a school record with 14 wins in the highly competitive NE-10 Conference.   Montana also worked with an NABC All-American Honorable mention, a pair of All-Conference players, and a Co-Rookie of the year before making the jump to head coach at Green Mountain College in 2005.
